Java Backend Engineer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Our customer base spans 150 institutes across 40 countries. A bit about the role : We are seeking a Java Back-End Engineer to join our team. As a Java Back-End Engineer, you will be a key player in shaping the technical foundation of our products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality server-side applications. Your role will involve designing robust architectures, implementing efficient APIs, and ensuring that our systems are scalable and reliable. You will contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, playing an integral part in the growth and success of the company. - Location: Electronic-City, Bangalore. Detailed roles and responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance server-side applications using Java - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various web and mobile applications. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software, ensuring optimal performance and security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering - Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and implement optimizations and enhancements as needed. The profile of an ideal candidate : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (4years) in software engineering, with a track record of building and delivering scalable, high quality software solutions - Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, etc.). - Experience with RESTful API design and implementation. - Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for technology, innovation, and building successful products in a start-up environment. - Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
