Product Owner

Job Description : - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN 401(K) - Creates and maintains a product backlog reflecting value and prioritizing work for a product engineering team. - Work with business and product engineering leadership to prioritize enhancements and releases. - Distill annual roadmaps into requirements and then prioritized sprints with the help of engineering - Decide what your product engineering teams work on - Communicate and evangelize product strategy to peers in engineering and UX - Work with partners in business, engineering, marketing and analytics to define, build and launch products/platform features - Provide quality assurance (QA) review of non-code developer's deliverables (i.e., design documents, test plans, test reports, ), and track acceptance using customer provided automation tools - Manages an enhancement request process to identify work of high business value - Conveys the goals and product requirements for enhancements and new development, and with Business Analysts assists with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements. - Represents the business to the team Product Owner Qualifications : Qualifications for a job description may include education, certification, and experience : - Licensing or Certifications for Product Owner - List any licenses or certifications required by the position: CSPO, PSPO or equivalent Education for Product Owner : - Typically a job would require a certain level of education. - Employers hiring for the product owner job most commonly would prefer for their future employee to have a relevant degree such as Bachelor's and college Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Technology, Technical, Business/ Administration, Science, Information Technology, Education, Marketing Skills for Product Owner : Desired skills for product owner include : - Microsoft Office products and applicable databases - Multiple technical software delivery methodologies - Agile process and principles - Change Management practices - Procedures - Technology - Engineering - Consulting - Agile working methods Scrum/Kanban - Microsoft Office products Desired experience for product owner includes : - Work with Strategic Product Managers to translate high level strategy product direction into work breakdown and prioritization for the backlog - Work with Product Designers to develop personas supporting usability and user-centered design - Collaborate with the Business Solutions team during pre-sale activities and convert client launch requirements into backlog items - Experience with agile product development including requirements and work management in epics and stories - Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in order to deliver the most value - Manage ROI and deliver business benefits (ref:hirist.tech)
