Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Manual Testing

About the Role : We are looking for a 2 experienced Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute manual test cases around mobile, web frontend & backend products to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. Objectives of this Role : - Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards. - Carefully maintain complaint and non-conformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions. - Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits. - Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines. - Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance. - Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills. Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree. - Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor. - Must have experience with any of the following : Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - You must have experience with programming languages such as Java or Python. - Superb computer competence, including database management. - Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. - Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Knowledge of Web Application Automation Testing, Mobile app automation testing and API automation testing. - Knowledge of of Shopify Ecosystem is a plus Optional. - Mobile & Web App testing. - Ul Testing. - API Testing. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it. - Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practice defect management practice. Preferred Qualifications : - Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex products. - Demonstrated experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts. - Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English). - Proficient with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and GitHub products.
