Job Description

Please find the attached Job details : Role : Appian Platform Administration. Years of Experience : 6-15 years. Any Project specific Prerequisite skills. Job Responsibilities : - Foster agile relationship between software development and IT operations establish and refine Continuous Integration CI and automation key processes release schedules and infrastructure designs. - Perform Appian Low Code Platform Operations and Appian version upgrade Fix installation. - Work with the business and development to help translate the functional requirement to Appian business flows with the help of Process Models Rules Expressions CDTs and component Integrations. - Act as technical lead through both design and development for all platform capabilities. - Maintain the stability and availability of the Appian environment ensuring continuous operational functionality 24x7. - Experience using Appian Monitoring and Logging Appian Health Check reports Load Balancer Web Server Engine and Services Server. - Setup shared CICD environment CICD pipeline efforts ensuring testing and delivery best practices to facilitate controls to run smoothly within DevOps process. - Work with system owner's technical team's functional teams to design implement test and validate a system. - Work with Agile teams Developers QA Operations Production Support to oversee code releases and deployments. - Responsible for maintaining compatibility interoperability of the Appian systems with pipeline tools cloud services and mission systems. - Promptly implement provide solutions in the event of production downtime due to technical issues. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Required Minimum Necessary Qualifications : - Minimum 5 years of experience working in Appian platform support required. - Experience in Appian Platform Upgrade required. - Experience in managing OnPrem (mandatory), in Cloud Appian Environment. - Bachelor's degree in IT Computer Science or similar work experience required. - Deep technical knowledge of Appian Architecture components and best practices. Skills Abilities and Knowledge : - Experience in Appian Platform Administration handling Backup installation upgrade performance monitoring. - Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. - Understanding of integrations including RESTful services is essential. - Experience with system monitoring tools such as Splunk Grafana. - Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Git Jenkins Ansible and others. - Proficiency in Shell or Python Scripting. - Possessing a solid understanding of fundamental network functions standards and protocols including Proxies SSLHTTPS Load Balancers and LDAP. - Maintain UpToDate knowledge of Appian versions and possess comprehensive understanding of the detailed upgrade procedures. - Flexibility to provide after business hours support rotation every 10 or so weeks. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to technical and nontechnical teams. Nice to have Skills : - Understanding and knowledge of Kafka and ECS containers. - Appian Developer certification. - Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration. (ref:hirist.tech)
