Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

Key Responsibilities : - Be a part of the development of full-stack web applications using JavaScript and Python - Architect, implement, and optimize MySQL databases for efficiency and scalability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure the quality of the codebase through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices in software development - Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack - Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and growth - Design and implement APIs and integrate third-party services as required - Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, security, and scalability - Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to guide architectural decisions Required Skills and Qualifications : - 0-2 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on full-stack development - Expertise in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) - Strong proficiency in Python and back-end frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) - Advanced knowledge of MySQL database design, performance tuning, and query optimization - Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture - Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment - Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in production environments Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks - Experience working in a mission-driven or non-profit environment is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
