Software Development Engineer III - Backend Architecture

Job Title : SDE 3 - Backend (Node.js) Location : Delhi Experience : 4-7 years About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer (SDE 3) skilled in Node.js to join our dynamic team in the gaming industry. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that address complex business challenges, create prototypes for demos, and guide implementation processes. You'll be responsible for developing scalable applications with low latency and high concurrency, while also mentoring and setting coding standards for the team. Key Responsibilities : - Solution Design : Architect workable solutions based on customer requirements, creating detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation. - Prototype Development : Build and test prototype applications for complex business needs and demos. - Technical Ownership : Act as the SPOC for feature requests, collaborating with PMs and initiating projects with clarity and effective handover practices. - Team Leadership : Guide team members on system design, coding guidelines, and best practices; be a role model and mentor. What We're Looking For : Technical Expertise : - 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js. - Proficiency in container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, ECS. - Strong understanding of AWS managed services (DynamoDB, Beanstalk, SQS). - Proven track record in building scalable applications and handling distributed storage (SQL/NoSQL). - Familiarity with in-memory storage solutions like Redis, Memcache. - System Design Skills : Ability to design highly available, end-to-end cloud-first products with zero-downtime deployment. - Additional Skills : Experience with socket programming, game or messenger applications, and Linux/Unix systems is a plus.
