Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 18 months minimum required License: Indiana license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, RRT, Arterial Punctures. PALS required for those floating regularly to specific locations. Must-Have: Conscious sedation, IV start, telemetry, vents Job Description: - Provide respiratory diagnostics and neuro diagnostics, performing a range of respiratory therapy treatments and procedures. - Administer and manage conscious sedation, start IVs, and monitor telemetry and ventilator settings. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate and adjust treatment plans according to patient needs. - Ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols. - Float to additional hospitals or affiliates as required. - Work every other weekend; work two out of three major holidays. - Participate in pre-start modules and complete an orientation period. - Willingness to float within the network and adapt to various clinical settings. - First-time travelers are accepted. Orientation Hours: 12 hours (non-billable) Vaccination Requirements: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
