Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 Location: Cornwall (Commutable from Truro, Bodmin, Falmouth, St Austell, Lostwithiel, Roche, Padstow) Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our production facility. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, FMCG environment. The Role: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Attend breakdowns on manufacturing machinery to ensure minimal downtime. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment. Work alongside the production team to optimise equipment reliability. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to engineering projects. What We're Looking For: A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent). Proven experience in a maintenance role within food, drink, or FMCG environment. Strong electrical and mechanical skills, Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge of PLC fault-finding is desirable Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
