Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Mickleover Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Monday to Friday Primary Industry: Construction, Housing, House Building Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum Benefits: Car allowance or company car, fuel allowance, bonus scheme, private pension and healthcare Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence A bespoke developer is looking for an Assistant Site Manager for a brand new development in Derby. This site consists of heritage traditional build houses to a high spec. Offering progression and a development plan from day one. Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers Monitor progress and quality of work Manage site personnel and resolve any issues that arise Prepare and maintain accurate site reports Assist in project planning and scheduling Required Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) First Aid certification Driving Licence Experience: Previous experience as an assistant on new build housing projects. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in MS Office and project management software Working Conditions: Work on-site in various weather conditions, may require occasional weekend work
