Job Description

A well-established (30 years) leading materials handling Company based in the York area are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias, to join the business. This role is working on a Monday to Friday days shift and salary is £37k - £40k. The successful Service Engineer will be responsible for: Maintaining all manual handling equipment, FLT, Cherry Pickers on customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York Paid door to door Service van, tablet, mobile, PPE, provided Valid driving licence essential Thorough Examination inspection (LOLER & PUWER regs) trained is beneficial Equipment operator licenses preferred At least 3 years’ experience in same or related mechanical industry Must be able to work well as a team and on own initiative In return, the successful Field Service Engineer will be part of a business that recognises talent and skill and will always promote from within where possible. The salary is advertised as up to £40k, this is made up of £35k - £40k basic, depending on experience, plus any potential additional paid overtime. I am really keen to see your CV if you are an experienced field service engineer, ideally with LOLER and PUWER and good experience in a relevant mechanical field. This role is working Monday to Friday days 8am to 4.30pm
