About the Role: As a Mid-Level Backend Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enhance the customer experience Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to discussions around tools, architecture, and processes. Work with a range of modern technologies, including Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, and various Azure technologies/services. Who We Are Looking For: Have commercial experience developing backend systems with meaningful complexity using any object-oriented language, with a preference for experience with TypeScript/Node, and familiarity with cloud-based services like Azure. Be proficient in one or more backend-focused programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, Python - with a preference for the TypeScript and Node stack - and managing the code with version control systems, notably Git. Have leveraged cloud components to deploy and operate your applications, with a strong preference for Azure and its related services. Practice modern software development practices such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, communicate well both verbally and written, and have great teamwork skills.
