Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will: Take full ownership of multiple contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical contracts, from initial tender through to successful project completion. Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Manage and lead project teams, providing clear direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and health and safety protocols. Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Control and manage project budgets, negotiating contracts and minimizing costs while maintaining quality standards. Resolve technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to ensure project success. Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager handling multi-million-pound contracts in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. A track record of delivering projects to a high standard, on time, and within budget. A solid understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred). A full UK driving license.
