Repair Engineer

A well-established company in Braintree who supply, fit, and maintain machinery for the leisure industry are looking to recruit a Repair Engineer. This is a varied role, working by yourself at client sites repairing gym equipment. To qualify for this role you will need to have a good mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and a clean full driving licence. Duties: After a period of training and shadowing an existing Engineer, you will be responsible for your own van ensuring it is kept clean and tidy Travelling to client sites based in London and East Anglia Fault finding and performing mechanical repairs on gym equipment Cleaning, lubricating, and replacing any worn parts and cables Fill in repair paperwork and complete excel spreadsheets Check function and movement of machines Early starts are a feature of the role, and you will be paid from when you leave your houseSkills & Experience: Must have a good mechanical aptitude Good attention to detail Calm under pressure and methodical Self-sufficient, must be able to work on own You will be expected to drive in and around London on a regular basis, therefore it is essential that you have a full driving licence and must be confident driving a van.
