EHS Specialist – 6-Month Contract Location: Southampton, Fareham, and Eastleigh Areas On behalf of a leading Medical Device Manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced EHS Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract . This is a great opportunity to contribute to the health and safety compliance of FMCG manufacturing and logistics environments. About the Role: You will play a crucial role in managing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices across the company’s Hampshire-based sites . This includes supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring legal and internal compliance for health and safety. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with legal and internal EHS standards across manufacturing sites. Review, implement, and deliver EHS policies, procedures, and training. Promote a positive EHS culture, engaging employees in campaigns and safety initiatives. Conduct risk assessments and ensure chemical compliance. Liaise with external authorities for incident reporting (RIDDOR). Deputise for the EHS EU Leader as needed. Requirements: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety. Experience in EHS, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors. Valid UK driver’s licence for multi-site work. Ability to start immediately and be on-site for the majority of the contract.
