Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager Location: Stevenage, UK (Minimum of 3 days per week on site) Security Clearance: SC clearance required/must be able to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance. About the role You will work within Akkodis’ Aerospace & Defence business unit, supporting Software and engineering projects. The role involves managing small-to-medium-sized projects and supporting senior project management on larger initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage projects across their lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Manage & control the project costs & financial performance. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to align project goals and address concerns proactively. Conduct root cause analysis for issues and propose corrective actions. Oversee project scope, risks, and changes. Prepare and present status reports to clients and internal leadership. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: Previous project management/project ownership experience is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques. Project management certification, such as CAPM, Prince2, or APM, is preferred.
