Indirect Category Buyer – Logistics and Materials Somerset, Hybrid What you’ll do… As an Indirect Category Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a variety of indirect materials and services necessary to support business operations. This includes dies and molds, small tools, HSE items, contracts negotiation with Export-import logistic providers, CHAs, 3PL providers, local transporter and other indirect goods and services that contribute to the overall efficiency of the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and production, to ensure materials are sourced cost-effectively and in alignment with business needs. Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will: Responsible for indirect Purchasing of Capex/Opex Indirect goods and services for an OEM. Manage the sourcing portfolio ensuring transparency of awarding. Lead and manage the RFI, RFQ, Cost Comparison, Zero based costing, Negotiation & awarding process. Establish beneficial working relationships with various internal groups across the organization Negotiate and execute contracts. To prepare and propose cost reduction strategies and category plan to Procurement Lead. Proactively identify risks and create contingency plan to mitigate risk in supply chain to avoid potential disruption on operations. Who we are… Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. Being a relatively new department, you’ll play a critical part in creating purchasing and supply chain processes and a key driver of efficiency, cost-saving and sustainability within the organization. What you’ll bring… Proven work experience in Indirect Sourcing, mainly in OPEX function for Automotive/Tech Company for Green field or Brown Field Project. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management. Broad Knowledge about Contract finalization. Strong project management. Prices trends of Pipe, Valves, fittings from Major OEM To work on zero based costing for fabrication Items Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions Capable of managing self-activity planning and sorting priorities as per deadlines and work without supervision.
