Job Description
Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a permanent, full-time role within a dynamic and growing electrical services company? Our client is seeking a dedicated Accounts/Administrator to join their team in Crawley. The Role: As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in the company's financial operations. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate financial records and entering transactions into Xero. Managing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Handling payroll activities. Regularly reconciling bank accounts/statements with precise documentation. Monitoring and recording company expenses. Supporting the preparation of financial records for audits. Performing bookkeeping tasks. Managing CIS & VAT returns. Ensuring timely and effective credit control. The Candidate: The ideal candidate should have: 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in an Accounts Assistant role. Proficiency with Xero accounting software (1 year required). Strong communication and organizational skills. An AAT qualification (achieved or working towards) or equivalent.
