Job Description

The London office of a US-headquartered firm are actively looking to add two exceptional Private Equity Associates to their highly regarded and very busy corporate practice. The firm has a life sciences and technology-focused client list, and the Private Equity team advises private equity and other investment funds and Real Estate Investment Trusts on transactions in privately held companies, including acquisitions and disposals, control and minority equity investments, and complex joint ventures. This position attracts a market-leading salary and quality of work, and selection for these roles will be rigorous. In order to be considered, you will most likely have a very strong academic background and training, as well as 2-3 years' post-qualification experience from a Magic Circle or peer US Firm, and be experienced in dealing with high-value, complex and multi-jurisdictional private equity transactions. While the firm counts many originally foreign-qualified Lawyers amongst their ranks (and Partnership) in London, for this position the firm is looking for England & Wales-qualified and London experienced Associates. To discuss this opportunity and others we are handling in London or internationally, please send your CV in complete confidence to David Von Dadelszen. Please note that where a level of preferred experience or qualification is indicated, this is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience. Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
