Mixed Tax Senior - Top 40 firmLeicester£30,000 - £45,000 Our client, a highly reputable and well renowned medium-sized accountancy firm, based in Leicester, are now eagerly seeking to appoint an ambitious and talented Mixed Tax Senior to join their highly successful tax department. Role Requirements - Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for individuals Calculating individuals' tax liabilities and advising payment of tax due under self-assessment Preparation of capital gains tax computations and making claims for relief under SEIS, EIS and VCT Correspondence (written & verbal) with clients, HMRC and other third parties Preparation of partnership and sole trader tax returns Monitoring the compliance cycle for personal and corporate clients Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600s with capital allowances claims, etc Preparation of P11Ds, PSAs, CIS returns and ERS returns Assisting managers with ad hoc planning and advisory projects Assisting with dealing with HMRC enquiries Person Requirements - ATT and/or CTA part qualified with at least 2 years' experience in a similar mixed tax position at a semi-senior or senior level Good understanding of corporate and personal tax legislation and awareness of applying technical knowledge in practice Proficient in the use of tax software to ideally include CCH and Alphatax This role presents a prime opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to take the next step in their career working for a firm of choice where full support will be given and opportunities to progress will be forthcoming This role is advertised by Linda Carstens, Butler Rose (AGY) Butler Rose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Butler Rose Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
