PE Cover Teacher Part time

Location: Wakefield Start Date : January 2025 Pay Rate : £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered) What We're Looking For QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. Eligibility to work in the UK. A strong ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Skills Strong knowledge of the Subject Lesson planning Clear Verbal Communication and Rapport building Team Leadership and showing teamwork Time Management Safeguarding knowledge and understanding of relevant child protection procedures. Behaviour Management Collaboration Reflective Practice Responsibilities Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among students. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering mutual respect. Ensure all equipment and resources are used safely and efficiently.
