Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an exciting opportunity for a Senor Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business has a national presence and operates out of several regional offices across the UK. They undertake projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, leisure and commercial with projects valuing up to of £40mil. About this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a national main contractor and run one of their upcoming schemes. As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing a project from pre-construction through to final account and client handover. You will be responsible for client facing and may have a junior surveyor reporting into you. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Be involved in 2-nd stage tender process Take ownership of all procurement activities Manage sub-contract packages dealing with any variations and valuations Deal with final accounts Conduct monthly CVRs Support / mentor junior members of staff Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: HNC / Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is preferential) Have a proven track record of administering JCT forms of contract (NEC is beneficial) Have managed projects valuing up to £15mil Live within Hampshire and be happy to commute to site / office Whats on offer for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Salary of up to £75k Package Opportunity to diversify project portfolio Career progression pathways pipeline of local work This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy regional office with a strong forward order book.
