English Lecturer Location: West London Job Type: Fulltime Salary: £30-40 per hour We are seeking an English Lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English courses. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about English literature and language and is committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills English. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their academic work. Develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to a range of abilities. Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment. Attend departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum. Keep up-to-date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice. Required Skills & Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification in the subject area. Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
