Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a vibrant school in Leeds. The successful candidate will be working within Key Stage 1 and will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities in the classroom. This role is to start in January 2025 on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contribute to the development of student's social and emotional well-being. Assist with the assessment and tracking of student's progress. Requirements: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly within KS1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
