Work Coach Blackpool £31,067 (25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays, Local Government Pension Scheme) Full-time, Permanent The Role: We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Work Coach to support job seekers in addressing barriers to employment and achieving sustainable work opportunities. This role involves managing a caseload of individuals with diverse challenges and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market. Duties: Manage a caseload of job seekers with varied barriers, including skills gaps, health challenges, and long-term unemployment. Conduct detailed assessments to understand clients' experiences, identify obstacles to employment, and outline training or development needs. Develop tailored SMART action plans with each client, regularly monitoring and reviewing their progress to ensure job-readiness. Provide individualised support to help clients address personal barriers, such as confidence building, skills enhancement, or navigating the labour market. Engage with employers to identify and promote suitable job opportunities, assisting clients through applications, interviews, and onboarding processes. Meet weekly KPIs and job start targets, maintaining a results-driven and client-centred approach. Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Work Coach or Employment Advisor, with a strong track record of supporting individuals into sustainable employment. Proficiency in developing person-centred SMART action plans and managing diverse caseloads. Demonstrated success in working with employers to create job opportunities and supporting clients through the application and hiring process. An understanding of the labour market and the challenges faced by job seekers. A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you will be a car driver with access to your own vehicle.
