Job Description
Management Accountant required for maternity cover, Grimsby area to begin March 2025 for a period fo 9-12 months. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This position requires a strong understanding of financial services and accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. Responsibilities Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making. Managing finance function Improving systems Managing organisational change Business planning Compliance Skills Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices within the financial services sector. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proven ability to mentor and develop team members in a professional setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement in financial processes
