DevOps Engineer

Location: Cambridge (CB23) Duration: Permanent Hours: Full time, flexible (Monday to Friday) Salary:£45,000-£60,000 DOE Job Reference: 35523 Polytec are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's innovative team. Responsibilities Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies. Design and maintain automated deployment processes. Monitor, support and enhance infrastructure and application operations. Collaborate with software developers to automate and streamline operations. Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes. Work with open-source technologies and cloud services. Implement and automate security controls, governance processes and compliance validation. Define and deploy monitoring, metrics and logging systems. Required Experience Strong background in Linux and Linux Administration. Proficiency in shell scripting and Python. Experience with Docker and cloud services like AWS. Understanding of scalable networking technologies. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Desirable Skills Experience with Terraform, Docker Swarm, AWS Lambda, ECS, EC2, ECR.
