Senior / Lead Salesforce Developer - Apex, Visualforce, Javascript - Manchester Salary: £70,000-£80,000 Remote First - Manchester We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Salesforce Developer to guide a talented team of developers in delivering business-critical solutions. This role involves hands-on development, leadership, and collaboration across multiple teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative Salesforce solutions. Role Overview You’ll lead the development and integration of Salesforce solutions, shaping the direction of this key function. Collaborating with stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions while mentoring and growing your team. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions. Develop and maintain custom Salesforce functionality, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. Integrate Salesforce with business-critical systems using APIs and third-party tools. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including code documentation, testing, and deployment processes. Oversee release cycles and implement enhancements to existing applications. Maintain and expand integrations with tools like DocuSign, Salesforce Maps, and Marketing Cloud. Mentor and lead the development team to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Experience & Skills At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and Visualforce. Expertise in Salesforce APIs, integration techniques, and tools such as OmniStudio, CPQ, and DataRaptor. Proven leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring a development team. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II. Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
