Site Manager

Site Manager required for North Devon, opportunity for temp to perm contract. Hays are currently supporting a growing house builder in the North Devon area. As a result, they are looking for a new Site Manager to join the team from April 2024. The project is due to kick off in June/July, so joining early will give you the opportunity to be involved with some pre-construction including managing subcontractors, design and orders. Once started, you will be a key figure on site managing clients and contractors to deliver the best quality product. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all site activities, ensuring efficient use of resources. Supervise and manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met. Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry. Some knowledge of pre-construction would be beneficial. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health and safety regulations.
