If you answered YES to the above, then this Teaching Assistant role is for you The Position – Teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant required in Waltham Forest for long term role until the end of the academic year. The school have confirmed that if successful during the period of January until July they would be open to keeping the Teaching Assistant moving forward. The role is based in KS1 and you will be based in the Year 2 class, the Teaching Assistant must confidently be able to run intervention sessions with groups of children up to 6 pupils per session. The intervention sessions will mainly be in Maths and English. Although, training isn’t available for the intervention sessions support is always offered.
