Tendering Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer to lead the commercial tendering process. This role will be responsible for the management of the tendering process for clients globally. Preparing formal sales tenders and quotations you will be an integral part of a team who are growing the business and assuring its success. This role requires someone who has previous Job Description for the Proposals Engineer: Producing technical and commercial tenders Preparation of quotations from the client's spec Using an ERP system to manage the commercial process Liaising with internal production and supply chain partners Meeting with clients and suppliers as and when required to discuss requirements Managing the client's order once approved Project management of large tenders To hold contract review meetings with technical and quality departments Ideally, we are seeking Proposal Engineer candidates with the following experience: HNC or HND or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering GCSE’s C or above in Maths & English and Science if applicable Engineering/manufacturing sector experience Proven bid writing or tender experience is essential Strong commercial acumen Good IT skills Proven communicator Hours: Monday –Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm - Friday 8:30 am- 1:00 pm Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Brampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
