Managing Director

The Opportunity Our client is a well-established manufacturing business with over a 30-year history, specialising in creating innovative, sustainable products for the construction industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board to deliver an ambitious, strategic plan, overseeing all aspects of the business while fostering a collaborative and people-focused company culture. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of the five-year strategic plan in alignment with Board objectives. Oversee all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the business. Manage the company’s P&L and ensure achievement of KPIs. Foster collaboration within the leadership team and set individual objectives. Represent the business in bi-monthly Board meetings with sector and non-executive directors. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will be an experienced Managing Director ready for their next challenge, with: A proven track record in growing businesses and driving innovation. A collaborative leadership style, adept at fostering a “family feel” within the organisation. The ability to work in a structured, controlled manner with internal and external stakeholders.
