EC&I Engineer - The Role: Take part in the tendering process – review specifications, create deviation lists and negotiating scope of supply Configure and develop PLC & SCADA software for a wide variety of applications Complete electrical design for cabling, field power cabling, instrumentation configuration with some electrical schematic design Create the BOM – Instrument fittings, glands, cables, cable trays etc. Understand contracts with respect to the electrical and instrumentation scope of supply for process automation projects - primarily Water and FMCG Prepare P&ID to company and customer requirements Complete engineering documents such as instrument lists, IO list, cable list, interconnection diagram Compile FAT & SAT documents EC&I Engineer - The Person: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar industry Electrical Design experience – ideally in AutoCad Self-motivated and willing to be flexible with travel Ideally have previously worked in a similar role within a systems integration environment Any experience of WIMES for the water sector highly advantageous MUST be an experienced person for this role This position will involve c30% travel across the UK with occasional overnights. You will travel out to customers to take client specifications, and then return to support with test & commissioning. All expenses are covered and mileage paid at the top government rate.
