Brake Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to work for our client based in Haverhill who are a leading provider of precision sheet metal fabrication services. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of brake presses and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Hourly rate is dependent on experience and the hours are working Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm and Friday: 7am – 2pm. Working over 44 hours in the week would grant 1.5x standard hourly rate as overtime. Main Duties: Set up and operate brake presses to form sheet metal into specified shapes and sizes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Ensure quality control standards are met. Maintain and clean equipment. Follow all safety procedures. The Successful Candidate: Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure.
