Maersk Supply Service is seeking qualified Third Engineers to join our operational fleet in Brazil. If you identify with the description below, please apply using the link. Responsibilities: Safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations, maintenance, and repair of the vessel and technical installations in accordance with the Master's & Chief Engineer's instructions, relevant legislation, and the Company’s Safety Management System and Planned Maintenance System. Knowledge of, adherence to, and implementation of the Company's policies with respect to Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, Security, Smoking, and Drugs and Alcohol. Aware of responsibilities and obligations as required by the Management System procedures. Control and supervision of engineers, ratings, and teams' daily working plans, associated with watch and work routines as directed by the Second Engineer. Keep the Chief Engineer, the Shipboard Management Team, and other functions on board well informed to coordinate and control activities, maximizing safety, quality, and environmental protection. In charge of the maintenance of the generators and auxiliary equipment, responsible for conducting duties in the best interest of the Company as directed by the Second Engineer. Report to the Second Engineer any defects, non-conformances, and other matters that could affect safe fuel and sludge operations or present a risk to health and safety, pollution, quality of work, or operational efficiency.
