Job Description
The successful candidate's duty is to ensure that our inventory levels are accurately maintained, organized and replenished to meet customer needs. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and manage the company's refrigeration/parts inventory. 2. Implement inventory control procedures and best practices. 3. Analyze and forecast inventory levels based on historical sales data and forecasted demand. 4. Plan and coordinate inventory purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective management. 5. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to assess product demand and availability. 6. Regularly assess inventory for obsolete and slow-moving items, and develop strategies for their liquidation and/or disposal. 7. Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries and meet customer demands. 8. Resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement. 9. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity. 10. Develop, implement, and manage systems to evaluate, monitor and improve efficiency of the inventory system. Requirements: Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role. Syspro system knowledge Proficiency in inventory management software and platforms. Excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting methods, and inventory management systems. Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Strong knowledge of refrigeration products is a plus. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
