Electrical Engineer Oil&Gas

Electrical Engineer Oil & Gas Interesting technical role in the electrical department. Our client is a primary player in the Oil & Gas sector. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities: Design, development, and maintenance of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Establishing and enforcing construction, manufacturing, and installation standards. Evaluate the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components, and products. Calculating project costs and delivery timelines. Understand design specifications and technical drawings. Assure product quality by conducting thorough tests. Liaise with clients and other members working on the project. Provide site support. Observe and practice safety procedures and policies. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Required Experience and Education: Degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent background. At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. ATEX certification. Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. PLC and electrical units basic knowledge. AC-DC high and low voltage knowledge. Basic understanding of cryogenic liquids and their properties. Understanding of heat transfer and vacuum insulation. Technical proficiency in English (speak and write). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly motivated self-starter and a team player. Availability to travel is very important. J-18808-Ljbffr
