PL-SQL Developer - Database Tools

Title : PLSQL Developer - Oracle & Performance Tuning Expert Experience : 8 years Work Location : Bangalore/Pune Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Max Skills (Mandatory) : PLSQL Development, Oracle, Performance Tuning, SSIS, and ETL. Job Summary : As a PLSQL Developer, you will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other development teams to design, implement, and optimize PLSQL solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that Oracle databases are running efficiently, identifying performance bottlenecks, and resolving issues promptly. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain efficient PLSQL code for database-driven applications. - Perform database performance tuning and optimization for Oracle databases. - Analyze and improve query performance by identifying inefficient queries and creating appropriate indexes, statistics, or restructuring queries. - Work with the database team to create database objects (tables, views, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.). - Collaborate with other teams to integrate PLSQL solutions with business applications and platforms. - Perform thorough unit testing and assist with system integration testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and system outages. - Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide mentoring to junior developers. - Stay updated with the latest Oracle features and PLSQL enhancements to improve the quality and performance of development and Qualifications : - Strong experience in PLSQL development with deep understanding of Oracle database concepts. - Hands-on experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and improving database efficiency. - Expertise in SQL, including advanced functions, stored procedures, and triggers. - In-depth knowledge of Oracle performance tuning techniques (e.g., query optimization, partitioning, indexing, explain plans). - Experience with Oracle database versions (11g, 12c, 18c, 19c) and Oracle development tools. - Ability to work with large data sets and optimize PLSQL code for scalability and high performance. - Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling. - Good understanding of ETL processes and data integration. - Experience with Oracle AWR, ADDM, and other Oracle diagnostic tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related technologies. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, Python, or shell scripting is a plus. - Certification in Oracle Database Administration or related Skills : - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Ability to mentor junior developers and lead by example. - Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
