Senior Cloud Native Architect - Microservices & Serverless Functions

Responsibilities : - Design and implement cloud-native architectures for enterprise applications on AWS, leveraging microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven patterns. - Develop and deploy containerized Java/Spring Boot applications using Kubernetes and AWS EKS. - Integrate high-throughput event messaging systems like Kafka into cloud-based applications. - Implement a secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Utilize blue-green deployments and feature toggles to minimize risk and ensure smooth feature iteration. - Collaborate effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable and secure cloud solutions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). - 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based architectures. - In-depth knowledge of microservices principles and serverless development on AWS. - Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS EKS. - Hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot for building REST APIs. - Familiarity with Kafka and the CQRS pattern is a plus. - Experience with DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, TDD, BDD) and secure SDLC practices. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills (ref:hirist.tech)
