CirrusLabs - Senior PowerShell Engineer - IT Automation

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient PowerShell scripts and modules for automating system administration tasks. - Utilize functions, modules, and error handling best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability. - Automate tasks related to Windows environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and other system administration concepts. - Leverage your knowledge of Microsoft Entra to streamline identity and access management through PowerShell scripting. - Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and their services to automate cloud-based tasks (experience with cloud platforms is a plus). - Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and develop automated solutions. - Continuously improve and optimize existing automation scripts for enhanced efficiency. - Collaborate with IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective automation strategies. Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in system administration or a related role. - Proven experience as a PowerShell Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on automation and scripting. - In-depth knowledge of PowerShell scripting concepts (functions, modules, error handling). - Solid understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related administration tools. - Experience with Microsoft Entra and Entra PowerShell scripting is required. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for automation. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
