Scala Developer - Akka/Play Framework

We are seeking an experienced "Scala Developer" with 5 years of expertise to join our team in Koregaon, Mumbai. Job Title: Scala Developer. Location: Koregaon, Mumbai ONSITE. Experience: 4 years. Notice Period : Immediate to 3 weeks. Job description : - Minimum 4 yrs exp out of which Proven experience working with Scala programming language and its ecosystem 3 years. - Strong understanding of functional programming concepts and design patterns. - Proficiency in web development frameworks such as Play or Akka - Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL. - Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. , Git) and collaborative development workflows. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical challenges. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Candidate needs to work on scala theory concepts , streaming and understand scala transformation functions. - To optimize code solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Scala and the Play Framework. - Implement RESTful APIs and microservices to expose backend services to frontend applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Collaborate with frontend developers, database administrators, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Scala and Play Framework technologies and industry trends. - Contribute to the overall improvement of the development process and code quality.
