About us We are a global consulting firm operating within WPP’s largest creative agency (VML). Most of our work is within the field of digital transformation; we help clients identify and implement digital solutions, as well as conceive, build and deliver new propositions, that often have a related digital experience. We have a multi-disciplinary approach that is core to our business - operating with deep expertise across data, technology, design, research and business consulting. This role sits within the research team but is closely connected with the design and business consulting team given that many of our projects require a multi-disciplinary approach. What we are looking for We are looking for an experienced professional with experience in research and innovation - that has the ability to use multiple methods to identify insight and translate that into a new potential solution for a client. The person must be a fantastic connector, a strong storyteller, and have the ability to work across multiple departments. The main language required is English, but Spanish fluency is a strong benefit, followed by French, German or Italian. Responsibilities Lead and execute international projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the execution of high quality projects Project management: Supervise, guide and drive the team for best practices in qualitative and quantitative projects, integrating with design capabilities, data capabilities, and business consulting. Supervise and coordinate all phases of the project, from planning to final delivery. Client management: maintain a high level of conversations with clients, building deep, strong relationships across all projects leading to retained or recurring business Business development: identify new opportunities or respond to new client requests with insight-led, consultative responses that leverage the best of our methodologies and approaches to solve a client’s need. Requirements: Bilingual English, with ability to travel to London. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in similar roles, leading overall research or innovation programs. Fantastic communication and persuasion skills. Team management skills: ability to lead, motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams. Strong commercial orientation, with experience interacting with clients and being responsible for the successful delivery of projects. Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks efficiently. Preference for those based in Madrid, but open to meet other candidates.
