Functional Skills English Tutor Annual Salary: £27,929.83 - £33,690.72 Location: Wetherby Job Type: Full-time, permanent contract We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our team in the Offender Learning Sector. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the lives of others, helping them improve their literacy skills and contribute positively to their communities. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in English to meet contractual requirements and standards. Ensure teaching strategies and resources meet the diverse needs of learners. Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners to maximise their progress and attainment. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of learner progress and achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and educational experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Full teaching qualification (Minimum of CTLLS) or PGCE. Experience in teaching whether in primary education or adult learning.
