Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Monday to Thursday) Ilminster, Somerset Up to £40,000 Benefits Monday to Thursday (07:00- 16:30) Adept:us are excited to have partnered with a reputable mechanical manufacturing business that specialise in components that are supplied to a range of machinery producers. Based in Somerset, they are seeking a multi skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join the team, on a full time, permanent basis and are offering a 4 day working week. The role: The Role: As part of the maintenance engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all production and process machinery operates efficiently. Your key tasks will include: Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and functions smoothly. Factory Operations: Oversee and execute factory startups and shutdowns. Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and modification of electro-mechanical systems. Team Collaboration: Provide training, coaching, and support to production and operational staff. The Requirements: Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within an manufacturing environment. A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical and mechanical systems
