Setting Out Engineer

Are you an experienced Setting Out Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects? A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced professional to join their team for a landmark project in Peterhead. Accommodation can be provided if required. Key Responsibilities: Setting Out Duties: Using GPS and Total Station for precise measurements and layout on-site. Site Coordination: Collaborating with site management and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered to exact specifications. Quality Control: Conducting checks to verify accuracy and compliance with designs. Reporting: Maintaining accurate site records and updating project progress. What You’ll Need: Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Proficiency with GPS systems and Total Station equipment. Valid CSCS Card (essential). Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure
