Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor Location: West Drayton Are you an experienced Functional Skills Tutor looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Our school in West Drayton is seeking a passionate educator with expertise in teaching Maths and English, particularly for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). About the Role As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and/or English, from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, with a strong focus on exam preparation. This role is especially suited for professionals with a background in supporting SEN learners, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Contract Details: Fixed-term or agency position until July 2025 Flexible part-time hours (0.4/0.5 FTE) - 18 hours per week Sessions scheduled Monday to Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with flexibility to fit your schedule Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective Functional Skills lessons in Maths and/or English Support students with SEN, tailoring teaching strategies to individual needs Prepare learners for Functional Skills exams at Entry Level 3 to Level 2 Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high educational standards Why Join Us?
