Job Description

The Opportunity Deliver Business Change projects in the following Key areas to the Support Services Business Units: Process Change; People Change; Technology Change; and Business Transformation. What you will be doing Build, develop and motivate high performing project teams committed to achieving success by delivering the benefits of the project or programme. Project manage Business Change projects to meet objectives to time, quality and cost. Work with other functional areas to ensure synergy, effectiveness, and continual improvement of the organisational processes. Manage and lead all project communication to key stakeholders. Responsible for effective communication within and across projects and programmes to all stakeholders. To be aware of and support key negotiations and management of external vendors. Manage the inter-project dependencies forming the project/programme so that the objectives of the project/programme are achieved in the most effective and efficient manner. Initiate and maintain own project plans ensuring that all the details are accurate and up to date. Conduct Programme Reviews and provide accurate, informative and timely status reports to senior, executive and corporate management. Control activities, set priorities and allocate resources for the implementation of a group of projects or a single, large, complex project. Develop and support organisational financial commitments and strategies. Responsible for quality management of project products and ensuring these are done in a consistent way across all projects. Highlight any breaches of tolerances and take action to rectify across projects. Build and maintain RAID logs (Risk, assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) prioritising and building mitigation plan to minimise impact. Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in. What we need from you High level of competence in delivering Business Change Management Projects. Delivery focused with the ability to prioritise effectively, delegate and achieve results. Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands. Strong multi-tasking capability, project and deadline oriented. Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, orally and written. Experienced in delivery of complex projects. Experience of facilitating solutions with customers/suppliers. Proven team leadership, coaching and mentoring skills in a project environment. Experience of extensive stakeholder management across a diverse business environment. Strong experience of managing risk, issues and dependencies and building mitigation plans. Presence and impact with the ability to lead integrated project teams. Strong team player orientation - cooperative and willing to assist others. Accredited Project management or Change qualification would be desirable.
