Maths Teacher

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in mathematics, helping them build strong numeracy skills and fostering a genuine interest in the subject. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about maths education and eager to contribute to students' academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities for a Maths Teacher Design engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and support students' learning. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing regular feedback to help them achieve their potential. Create a focused, positive, and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and managing behavior in line with school policies. Offer additional support to students who may need extra help, tailoring approaches to suit diverse learning needs. Foster a love of learning by making maths accessible, relevant, and engaging.Requirements for a Maths Teacher A degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or QTS). Previous experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting is preferred.
