Production Operative (CNC Machinist)

Ritepeople are currently looking for CNC Machinists to join our client in Stockton-On-Tees on a permanent contract. Job Role Following part set up sheets. Operating CNC machines. Using hand tools such as pin grinders/ angle grinders. Completion of daily operation, TPM (total preventative/ production maintenance) and pre-operation check sheets. Documentation completion. Manual handling tasks. Completing tasks by use of engineering drawings. Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards. Inspect all equipment to ensure it’s in a safe working condition. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Other adhoc duties as requested by your line manager. However, you will be given duties in respect of your abilities, skill-set and organisational structure. Qualifications and experience Previous experience experience using CNC machines is essential. Previous experience working within the manufacturing sector would be beneficial but not essential. Previous experience operating handheld tools would be beneficial but not essential. Previous experience using engineering drawings would be beneficial but not essential. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or similar discipline would be beneficial but not essential
