Warehouse Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Bognor Regis. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving various tasks from inventory management to order processing. Due to the location, having your own transport is a must. Day-to-day of the role: Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized goods using appropriate equipment. Carry out inventory controls and ensure quality standards are met. Safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment as required. Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role. Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for extended periods. Must have own transport due to the location of the warehouse. Benefits: Competitive salary.
