Job Description

Your New Company Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting an ME contractor in Westbury with the recruitment of an Electrical Estimator to join their busy team. Your New Role You will work closely with clients to establish their requirements, set up the estimate structure within estimating software and inputting of all labour, material and subcontract elements, complete site surveys as well as negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices. You will be finalising costs with the Bid Manager and preparing tender submissions including offer letters, qualifications, considerations and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with tender return deadlines and follow-up tenders to secure projects. What You'll Need To Succeed You will have previous experience in a similar role with a strong knowledge of installation methods with the ability to read drawings and specifications, excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, as well as strong numerical, written communication and presentation skills. What You'll Get In Return This role is offered with a salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum on a permanent contract.
